What to Eat

Here’s the key about what to eat…WHOLE foods. To keep things pretty darn simple, that’s primarily it. Sure, I can (and will) get into granular detail about what to eat and why, but if everyone focused on eating whole foods, you would not have near the amount of acne you currently have.

Whole foods (most of them) do not produce inflammation.

Whole foods (most of them) do not cause a spike in your blood sugars.

Whole foods have the vitamins, minerals and nutrients that your skins needs to remain health and acne free.

Your body knows what to do with whole foods. Your body does not know what to do with highly processed foods.

Here is what I primarily eat and drink every day to keep my skin clear and smooth.

Vegetables:
Kale
Spinach
Salad greens
Peppers
Tomatoes
Carrots
Avacados
And any other vegetable you can think of!

Beans:
Chickpeas (I add them to my salads and always turn a handful into a supply of hummus)
Black beans
Kidney beans
Lentils (technically lentils are legumes)
And just about any other bean you can think of!

Seeds and Nuts:
Sunflower seeds
Walnuts
Flax seeds
Chia seeds
Pumpkin seeds

Fruit:
Bananas
Apples
Strawberries
Blueberries
Cherries
Oranges
Pears
Any other fruit that is in season.
